COUNTRY FENCE ROW Hollihock (Alcea rosea)

An old-time flower that once lined fence rows and ditches of farmsteads across America and Europe. Country Fence Row Heirloom Hollyhocks produce long spikes of large 4 to 5-inch white, pink, yellow, orange and burgundy flowers with delicately scalloped edges. Plants grow 5 to 8-feet-tall and bloom over a long period of time. Hollyhocks are biennials and therefore will not flower until the second year. For annual displays of blooms, sow seed two consecutive years. They will self seed if you allow seeds to ripen on stems.

Look beautiful as cut flowers.

These particular seeds have been hand picked in my own garden, sorted and sprouts tested to assure high germination rates are maintained year after year.
