The club's first history was published in 1988, the original chapters in that book have been revised and a further four new chapters covering the last 25 years have been added. The book tells a human story of generations of gentlemen from all walks of life who, over 175 years, have insured that the Club has evolved both consistently with its traditions and in ways which have reflected changes in society.
