What is Moissanite?
Moissanite is a Diamond alternative, compared with natural gemstones, moissanites have a smaller carbon footprint and result in less environmental impact.
Fine jewellery made with moissanites and recycled metals is a responsible choice.
Moissanite has a refractive index from 2.65 – 2.69, which is higher than a diamond, this translates
in a higher brilliance than an actual Diamond.
Moissanite tests positive for Diamond on most Diamond testers as they conduct heat in a similar way as Diamonds.
Benefits of Moissanite:
Mining Free
Moissanite is lab created with minimal environmental impact.
Value
Moissanite is less expensive per carat than Diamonds
Durability
Sturdy and durable, Moissanite gemstones are a 9.25 on the Mohs Scale of Hardness,
so they are suitable for everyday wear.

We use Rhodium plating on most of our pieces, Why Rhodium Plating?
Did you know Rhodium is the most expensive metal on the planet? even more so than gold or platinum, and is extremely rare.
It is hypoallergenic, extremely lustrous, withstands corrosion and is highly durable.
All these qualities make rhodium perfect for jewellery, but due to the hardness and brittleness of the metal, as well as the exorbitant cost, it cannot be used in its pure form to make jewellery.
The only way rhodium is used in jewellery is to plate other metals such as gold, platinum, brass, silver and palladium, to name a few.
