This is the fourth generation of Chronograph by Tudor, and the first to be equipped with sapphire crystal glass. The case sides are rounded, giving it a refined look. It continues to have many of the same designs as the Daytona from the days of manual winding, and while the Rolex crown mark was originally on the case and crown, these were gradually changed to Tudor's shield mark, and in 1998 it was changed to Tudor's own Ref. 62490 five-link bracelet, strongly emphasizing the identity of the Tudor brand. |
