A repousse ruffle border is the halo to a Red Heart Center made of bezel-set glass. 

   This is a sought-after Sweetheart Bracelet. They were gifted as a love token and they were made even more popular during times of war when young soldiers went off to fight for America. They would give one to their Sweetheart, Mother, Sister, Daughter. The Bracelet Band stretches to fit over the hand then fit the wrist like a watch. In fact, this type of bracelet design was the prelude to the watch band, thus making the pocket watch obsolete. This bracelet is an amazing piece of history! 

The stretchy band part of the bracelet features Fancy links with smooth links. It is shown on a 5 and 3/4" wrist and is very comfortable and this one WILL nicely fit a larger wrist as well.

CONDITION: Some scratches to the Heart as shown.  Some wear to the Gold Fill.
