Item up for sale is a super cool antique burner marked on the top with "Garanti Inexplosible" with a secondary mark of " ALG". The underside of the base is marked as being made in France. Some research indicates this piece was designed as a camp stove though we are not experts in this category. We are NOT sure what type of fuel this piece was designed to burn and metal body exhibits surface cracks around the sides throughout so item is being sold as an antique decorative collectible only and if new owner wishes to attempt use they should consult a professional PRIOR to any attempted use.

Metal body is non magnetic when tested with the underside of the base showing a magnetic quality when tested. Item was found with burner cap and the burner. A wick was found in place with interior of the reservoir stuffed with a bunting. Finish exhibits tarnish and patina throughout consistent with age and use and new owner will likely desire a polish. Wooden handle exhibits paint / finish wear throughout with some wood wear and cracking consistent with age and use present. Reservoir cap is red and shows metal bending and wear / loss around the edges. Cap does NOT come off when we have tried and is seized in place. Entire piece would benefit from a detail cleaning.

Item measures 4-1/2" top to bottom by 9-1/4" front to back (including handle) by 5-3/4" wide across the base. Amazing piece that comes fresh to the market from a recent estate buyout. If you have any questions please feel free to ask.
