Tank Preparation Tanks are made in a warehouse light scratching, scuffs, or dust may be present on tanks and does not effect performance of tank. Sanitize each tank prior to use to remove any debris from the manufacturing process, wipe with a damp cloth to remove surface dust or scuffs.

Installation & Plumbing Have a certified technician install all parts to prevent product damage and personal injury.

Do Not Pressurize Tank A garden hose is a pressurized water line, do not make a secured connection to the water tank with a pressurized line this will void any warranty on the tank. Tanks need to be gravity feed, this allows for air to escape while the water is going into the tank, see Basic Plumbing Diagram in photos.

Turning a garden hose on half way does not work because you can control the amount of water flowing but not the pressure in the line, leaving the tank to fill risks exploding the tank.

Class A Customs carries Gravity Fill Dishes in our online store that can be used with our fresh tanks.


Do Not over-tighten fitting damage will occur, use plastic connecting fittings as metal will damage threads.
Check our store for fill dishes, food grade fill hose and basic plumbing items. You will need to verify items needed, we are not aware of what you need.

Mounting & Bracing Tank needs to be adequately supported, sit on level surface and braced to prevent movement during transit
Do Not hang tank by ratchet straps, this is too thin and will not adequately support tank. Examples of bracing and supporting tanks can be found on Class A Customs Blog.
Do Not place weight on tank, if you need to stack the tanks you will need a weight bearing shelf between them.

Manufacturer warranty covers manufacturer defect on manufacturer installed fittings and tank. Using this tank for any purpose other than fresh or gray water storage will void any/all warranty. Do Not use tanks for sewage or fuel. Warranty does not cover install by customer or non-certified technician. No warranty, guarantee or liability is stated or implied on any product beyond the manufacturer. FAQ's and Item Help

Question: Can I hook a garden hose directly to the tank?
Answer: No, do not make a sealed connection to the tank using a pressurized water supply, a garden hose is a pressurized water supply. It is recommended to use a fill dish that allows for gravity feeding of the tank, please review our basic plumbing example for more information.

Question: Can I cut a hole in the tank and glue a new fitting in?
Answer: No, the tank fittings are not glued in they are spun welded during the manufacturing process. We do offer Uniseal Fittings that are food safe and allow you to put a fitting in anywhere on the tank.

Question: I need a custom tank can you make it?
Answer: Class A Customs can manufacture custom tanks, however you would need to pre-pay for a mold and the tank, typical mold price is over $5,000.00
