Wonderful vintage Arlington Stadium Media Press/Photographer Pass and FULL TICKET for the Saturday, September 6, 1986 game between the Rangers and the Royals.

The Rangers got the win 6-4.

This is a notable game because it was BO JACKSON's third MLB game, and only his second hit; a double as the DH. His MLB debut was in Kansas City just 4 days earlier, making this his first away game.

The Ticket is a FULL ticket, not a stub. Both Ticket and pass have some minor staining (see photo).

The Pass is orange in color, and measures approx. 3" x 5"

I was able to identify the original pass holder as a local Arlington area Sports Cards and Collectibles shop owner. Couldn’t find much other information about the individual unfortunately. A neat collectible item, check other listings for additional passes from this season.

Any questions just ask. Will ship with extra care. Happy to combine shipping.

The 1986 Texas Rangers were a team with a mix of veteran leadership and young talent, managed by Bobby Valentine. They finished with an 87-75 record, placing second in the AL West. The season saw notable performances from rookie Pete Incaviglia, who tied the club record for home runs, and Rubén Sierra, who became the youngest player to hit home runs from both sides of the plate in one game. The team also faced adversity, including injuries to key players like Don Slaught, Larry Parrish, and Mike Mason, but were known for their resilience
