I bought this as a lockdown project from a Citroen Mechanic, it was his vision of the ideal “DS” a d super 5, fitted with the earlier push button handles, probably a 2.3 engine, on a Weber Carburettor.

Sadly he had become largely incapacitated as a result of a stroke, I picked up where he had left off, had the bodywork finishes and painted by an excellent restorer and pieced it back together and used it

I have done various works in fact too much to mention, it starts instantly, is fast and powerful with excellent steering and suspension, it has been 100% reliable for me but I’ve only done 4-800 miles a year since getting on the road.

It needs what I would consolider fairly small jobs doing mostly finishing off trim, headlining was never completed, roof seal, which was new needs taken off and given attention, small trim bits done and various other small jobs, like fitting wash wipe, general kind of finishing off.

I have a surplus of cars with some nice old cars lying outside at the minute, this is offered as it is the most  “ready to go” but I have a few others including a low mileage Citroen GS, a , a SAAB 95v4, asuper low mileage  ex- Qatar embassy Daimler limousine, another low mile Daimler limousine and other things, if any of these go first the DS may be withdrawn for sale, I will post more photos early in the week, might consider sensible offers, might take something in part exchange but not cars, possibly an old motorcycle, a sorted Sunbeam S7 would definitely tick a box
