From a local estate we have an antique hardcover book titled Old Jacob or, A Friend in Need. Published by Frederick Warne and Co London, Scribner, Welford and Armstrong, New York.  This is a small book measuring 6" x 4" with an embossed cover. It has all of its pages but the first blank page and the first illustration before the title page are loose. The inside cover inscribed "For Master Harry Sykes from Uncle Dick". There are also two colored portraits of two prominent British politicians, William Ewart Gladstone and John Bright from around 1860.  An interesting book for your consideration.
