This is a UK made ladies' watch probably dating to the 1950s. It has the name Elbee on its dial. Unfortunately, I have not been able to find any information on the watchmaker who used this brand name.

It has a thin brown leather two-piece strap that is secured with a silver tone buckle. It is connected to the watch head by fixed strap lugs at the 6 and 12 o'clock positions.

It has a round polished silver coloured solid case-back and a matching press down bezel. The crown is a dull brass colour and probably started life as silver in colour but has since lost its outer coating.

The dial is round and a brushed champagne colour with polished gold coloured Arabic numeral hour markers. It also has a matching hour hand. The minute hand is missing. At the 6 o'clock position it has a subsidiary seconds dial. The seconds hand is also missing.

The watch is powered by a UK made Newmark 10 1/2 movement that is not currently running. The watch feels fully wound. The balance appears to be in good condition.

Case height is approximately 30mm lug to lug.

Case width with crown is approximately 27.25mm.

Case thickness is approximately 10.1mm.

The strap measures approximately 10mm at its widest and would fit a wrist of up to 17cm in circumference.

The item weighs 19.3g.
