It is all original but has been upgraded by having the original 'V' bar tailpiece replaced with an original Gretsch Electromatic 'G-cut-out' tailpiece (as featured on original Jets from the '50s). The bushings for the bar tailpiece have been removed and the holes covered with black plastic inserts (see photos). The tailpiece has been separately earthed to the guitar's electrics

It also comes with a Chinese-made 'Bigsby', which could be fitted instead of the Gretsch tailpiece.

It is in very good condition (plastic covering still on a rear control panel!).The neck, frets, fingerboard and electrics are all fine but the pickguard has a small crack in it and looks like it may be some sort of replacement (see photo). There is a very small chip on the top of the headstock
