We are happy to offer for your consideration a beautiful French antique mother of pearl cross. This pectoral crucifix measures 3” inches long and is an excellent antique condition. It is hand carved out of mother pearl, and has four sterling silver filigree caps one on each end of the cross. The mother of Pearl crucifix is in very good antique condition. It was made in the 1800s as a gift for first communion. Young boys and girls would wear a band on their arm made of silk with a ribbon and this type of cross tied to the ribbon.

This crucifix would make a wonderful pendant for a necklace or a replacement for a rosary cross.
