Main Abbreviations

MNH = "Mint Never Hinged" with original gum without any gum disturbance

MLH = "Mint Lightly Hinged" with original gum that shows slight marks from previous hinging or a small unobtrusive hinge remnant

M = "Mint" with original gum, that has significant marks from 1 or more hinges, or the actual hinge remains present

UN = "Unused" without gum

VFU = "Very Fine Used" with either a clear neat cancel or a neat corner cds, well centred for issue with nice perfs, and 4 margins on imperfs

FU = "Fine Used" still an attractive stamp with a fairly neat average cancel for issue, may be somewhat off centred, perfs may be slightly irregular or imperfs may have less than 4 margins.

GU = "Good Used" an average used stamp that may have a heavy or smudged cancel or minor blemishes from postal use

CTO = "Cancelled To Order"
(note: VFU or FU stamps may in fact be CTO)

Mostly F-VF = when a set or collection is described thus it means that some stamps are lower quality so not all F or VF, or have faults etc

Ebay rules state that all purchases should be sent by tracked shipping methods. This means that the shipping we invoice almost always has to be for tracked registered mail, or tracked economy mail, or tracked express mail etc, unless they are very cheap items (on which we give the buyer both tracked & untracked shipping options). Please note that the shipping cost includes insurance, and what we charge is actually less than our actual costs as ebay also charges their fees on the shipping costs that the buyer pays.

Sets and singles: All items are sold as genuine, as described, with original gum and free from hidden defects (unless otherwise described)

The photo forms part of our description and lots cannot be rejected for features visible in the photo such as margins, perfs, centring, etc

Lots proven to be not as described may be returned for full refund within 14 days of receipt

Expertising: Buyer's wanting extensions for items to be expertised must advise us in advance. Extensions will only be granted for genuineness or repairs etc, not for opinions on condition or grading. Extensions will not be granted for lots that already have expert certificates

Collections, Accumulations and Mixed Lots: An overall condition of these lots is given however the lot may contain items with faults, whose condition is of course taken into account in pricing. So such lots may not be returned on account of some stamps having faults. Any catalogue value quoted or numbers of stamps in these lots are approximate.
