Books are generally sent via media mail. This usually takes less than a week, but can take up to two weeks to get across the country if there is bad weather.  (I’m in California.)   

 

Ratings vary from seller to seller. These are mine:

Like new = DJ present (if applies). I didn’t see any dents, bends, scuffs or markings in the DJ or book when I looked at it. Shiny and pretty.

VG+ = DJ present (if applies). Maybe a teeny dent at a corner, but something you’d grab off a shelf at a store and not think twice. Pretty close to like new. Might have owner’s name or price inside. Vintage book in almost untouched condition.

VG = HC might not have DJ. If present, DJ might have some edge wear, small edge tears. Book probably has a few tiny dents to the corners, spine, or edges. Cover might have light fading or scuffing. Might have owner’s name inside. Biding fully intact. Might have light page browning. Might be ex-library in VG condition.

Good = Might have light foxing, very minor damage to a page or two. Might be ex-library with few library markings. Might have a few text markings.

Acceptable = Might have binding starting to crack but still intact, significant foxing but no odor, significant text markings, some cover damage. Might be ex-library with lots of library markings.

Garbage = Full binding separation, significant stains or damage, intolerable odor.
