Closed‑back dynamic architecture

HE‑R9 uses a large dynamic driver in a closed‑back shell, delivering strong sub‑bass extension, punchy low‑end, and enhanced isolation compared with open‑back HIFIMAN models.

The sculpted cups and generous over‑ear pads are designed to keep external noise out while maintaining a spacious presentation for music, movies, and gaming.

Topology diaphragm

Nanoparticle‑coated diaphragm tuning

HIFIMAN’s Topology diaphragm applies micro‑scale coating patterns to the driver surface, allowing finer control over breakup modes and frequency response than a conventional dynamic driver.

This helps the HE‑R9 combine impactful bass with clearer mids and more controlled treble for a fun yet detailed listening signature.
