 These full sized plans are for a ½ A powered U-Control "J-3 Piper Cub"

The wing is Built up covered with tissue or Monocote, The fuselage is profile and made from 1/4 inch sheet balsa wood. The  stabilizer and rudder are fabricated from 3/32 sheet balsa.

This is also a perfect Model for the KFM airfoil wing. Check the KFM Family of airfoils on the net, It's worth your time

Any good running .o49 to .074 engine will fly these models quite well.

 Mono filament fishing line will work for flying lines so long as there is little or no stretch in the line.

Kite string or packing string is not recommended as they have a tendency to stretch.

A suitable length is from 30 to 35 feet long and a calm wind free day is desirable.

 They are intended for the experienced builder as the there are no instructions included.
