Choose the cable WITH CHIP if:

  2. Your TV is an OLD device with only Red, White, and Yellow RCA ports.
  3. This converter actively changes the digital signal for old TVs. It needs USB power.

Simple Rule:

  • New device (HDMI) → Old TV (RCA): Use the converter WITH CHIP.
  • Old device (special port) → Old TV (RCA): You might use the cable WITHOUT CHIP.
