Welt is used to keep the blade from going through the sheath.
A metal gun belt clip is used the metal will NOT come in contact with your knife.
The interior is lined with fine leather to protect your knife.
The sheath is worn slightly past your right shoulder. You will not feel the knife handle at all.
This sheath will hold a ESEE 3, Gerber or any knife of similar size!
The Gerber knife ih the photo is 8 1/2" long, 4" blade and the handle is 4 1/2". The handle that sticks out is 2 1/2".
Sewn together with a Cobra class 4 leather sewing machine.
Reinforced back stitching on the sheath for added security and durability.

We use a 177 nylon thread so it will NEVER come apart.
