This hardcover edition of "The Chessmen of Mars" comes in acceptable condition, with the paper split at the rear interior hinge (otherwise intact binding), minor edge wear and shading to the cover and spine, some yellowing of the pages, and no dust jacket (see pictures).  

The book was written by Edgar Rice Burroughs and published by Grosset & Dunlap (copyright 1922).
