This is a Rich Brown Canadian 'Ranch Mink dyed' Musquash Collared Coat, Furrier made in the 1970s, by Harrisons of Worcester and Luton. In excellent vintage condition, the musquash fur has been dyed to mimic mink and it has the most beautiful thick plush depth to the fur and a wonderful glossy sheen. Un worn with the original swing tag with the original price of £295 in todays value (£5,000)
This coat is expertly made with a collar that can be worn closed or stood up and more relaxed. The coat has been classically cut. The coat is lined in a thick luxurious deep chocolate brown satin with a beautifully sewn opera hem, this is a double hem one under sewn to the coat.
The coat has full length wide sleeves and is fastened with a 2 fur hooks one at the neck and one at the waist, with a inside ribbon and loop at the waist point.
There are two velvet lined pockets (a sign of a quality fur) towards the side on each front panel.
Style: A classic coat for special occasion, or would look great worn more casually.
