This is a solidly detailed circulated example with full LIBERTY, a complete headband, and well-defined laurel leaves. Both sides retain full rims with even, honest circulation wear. The reverse shows a strongly outlined eagle with complete shield and wreath, typical of a well-preserved

Barber quarter.

This is an attractive example of a better-date S-mint Barber quarter. Although over 1.9 million were struck, surviving 1911-S Barber quarters are noticeably scarcer in better condition after more than a century of circulation.
