Original WW2 German SA Service Dagger RZM M7/116 Partially Restored

RZM daggers were manufactured after 1936 and onward. M7 is a license prefix and the 116 indicates that it was manufactured by Franz  Frenzel in Bohem (Nixdorf).

I found this dagger in a demolished house when living in Germany as an air force brat in the early 60's. It was in rough shape. I restored it by refinishing the handle which was getting pretty weathered with the insignia missing from the cutout. I painted the scabbard, which is missing the strap ring and the bottom finial is out of shape. The scabbard has no dents while the bottom chape has a few dings. Please also note that a very small section on the tip of the blade is missing. This can be re-grinned to suit if desired, but I felt it leaving it, gives a more authentic sentimental value. Having one that looks like it was just made yesterday for some reason doesn't seem real if you know what I mean.
