Antique Nippon porcelain footed bowl, hand painted and richly gilded. This elegant octagonal bowl features soft coral-orange florals with green leaves, surrounded by an ornate Greek-key style gold border. The raised gold and floral details highlight the artistry typical of early Nippon export porcelain.
The base bears the green “M-in-wreath Hand Painted Nippon” mark, used by the Morimura Brothers (precursors to Noritake) between 1911 and 1921.
