Condition: This teapot is in excellent physical condition, with very minor cosmetic wear. It features the rare combo of both 1st and 2nd production marks on its underside, and is also signed "c. 3430". 

-1st Mark - The green "J.P. / L - France", signifies that the porcelain was indeed made in a J. Pouyat factory in Limoges.

-2nd Mark - "J. Pouyat Limoges" inside a wreath, signifies that the teapot was also painted in a J. Pouyat factory in Limoges.

-"Paint et Doré à la main À Limoges", translates to "Hand Painted and Gilded in Limoges". It mostly bolsters the same meaning that the second mark signifies.

-C. 3430 - Most likely a makers mark and pattern number

While many pieces either just have one mark or the other, the combination of all marks on this piece makes this beautiful teapot a true original, and one-of-a-kind.
