We’ve been selling karaoke since 1988. That’s a long time! When I wanted to put my business phone number in the Yellow Pages the “karaoke” category did not even exist. I had to list the business under “Musical Accompaniment”. I’ve seen a lot of changes in these three decades. The formats that we have used to listen to our music has gone from cassette tapes and Laser Discs to Compact Discs w/Graphics, MP3+G and digital downloads. The good news for those that still have a karaoke cd+g player is that we still have thousands of discs still available, many of them are rare and hard-to-find, such as this one.
It's hard to believe that Meghan Trainor hit the charts over 16 years ago in 2009 with her song 'All About The Bass. She was only sixteen years old at the time and continues to impress us with her artfully crafted songs with a certain message in most all of them! Meghan Trainor has become the poster child for woman self-awareness and not conforming to the standard that society pressures us to be.
