The Medax SP12 paraffin stretching table is a high-quality heating plate that was specially developed for the requirements of histological sample preparation. It is used to smooth and fix tissue sections during the embedding process and, thanks to its even and stable temperature distribution, enables fast and efficient work.
The black, scratch-resistant aluminum heating surface improves the contrast for an optimal view of the fine cuts. The temperature can be set precisely and is displayed via an integrated digital controller. This means that tissue sections can be reliably spread out and smoothed on the microscope slide - without overheating or drying out.
With its compact design, the SP12 is ideal for use directly at the workplace, e.g. B. next to microtomes or water baths.
