The Medax SP14 is a compact and powerful heating plate, specifically designed for use in histology to smooth paraffin sections during sample preparation. The so-called stretching table ensures that the tissue sections are spread out efficiently and without wrinkles on microscope slides by evenly distributing heat.
The heating surface is made of scratch-resistant aluminum with a black, heat-resistant coating for optimal visibility of the cuts. The temperature is infinitely adjustable and can be precisely adapted to the respective requirements. An integrated temperature controller with digital display enables easy and precise control of the heating output.
Thanks to its compact design, the SP14 is ideal for use in confined spaces in laboratories or directly next to the microtome.
