Its been on the shelf in a controlled climate building for approximately 30 years. This is a new old stock N scale collectible that comes with everything pictured, including the box and papers. The outer plastic case may show micro scratches as expected from long-term storage. It also has 1 crack about 1.5" long in the lid. The overall condition is new old stock new.

PLEASE NOTE, the box says #1283 and the train number is #1255. We are not sure if it's the correct box?
