The Silver Dawn Observation Car No. 2531 was produced from 1952 until 1959. There are left and right side people silhouette inserts on the interior of the windows. It came with Type VIII die-cast four-wheel passenger trucks equipped with magnetic couplers. This extruded aluminum pullman car has SILVER painted vestibule ends, and the variety of ways that Lionel used to attach the name plates account for most of the variations, of which there are six and this is Type-V that still had ribs where the nameplate was attached using adhesive.
The car appears to be in very good condition, it does have some wear marks mainly on the painted vestibule ends. I have tried to take good pictures and please use them as the physical description and feel free to ask any questions before making a bid or purchase. The lights have not been tested. Thank you
