The BIM-01-2 OBD-II (J1850/CAN) Interface allows you to plug directly into the engine diagnostic port, extracting engine and transmission data from the vehicle's computer (ECM). The BIM-01-2 will collect and output the following information to Dakota Digital Instrument Systems *:

Due to the various factory and modified ECM's, additional data including (Intake Temp, Transmission Temp, Ambient Air Temp, Oil Pressure, and Gear Position) may be available, but will vary from application to application. Dakota Digital cannot guarantee the presence or accuracy of the Coolant Temp, Intake Temp, Transmission Temp, Ambient Air Temp, Oil Pressure, Boost or Gear Position displays since this is a function of the ECM and matching OEM functional sensors.
*The BIM-01-2 is designed to decode the information provided by the ECM through OBD-II and supply this information to the GRFX, RTX, HDX, VHX and VFD3 systems with a black plastic control module. For any BIM-compatible control boxes which contain the 3.5mm headphone jack BIM input, add part number 394194 adaptor harness. Earlier instrument systems with an aluminum control module are not capable of BIM connectivity

Compatible with OBD-II protocols SAE J1850 VPW, SAE J1850 PWM and ISO 15765 CAN 500k 11 bit identifiers that follow the SAE J1979 PID protocol.

All items need to be test fitted before you do any body work including priming. Items are not returnable once you have altered them. All of our patch panels are new and are top quality. All items are guaranteed to be new. All chrome interior and exterior parts we sell are guaranteed to be free from rust and scratches and are guaranteed to be packaged very well. We will package your item very well and take every action to make sure it gets to you in great shape. Also, some sheet metal items may have a scratch here or there, but that is standard when purchasing patch panel from any person on ebay or by mail order or even if you go into a store and buy them. INSTRUCTIONS FOR
COMBINED SHIPPING:
In most cases but not all cases, we can combine shipping
on multiple parts. All requests for combined shipping must be made from a
personal computer such as desk top or a laptop. The Ebay mobile app does not
allow you to request a revised invoice. You cannot request a revised invoice
from a cell phone, tablet or any other personal device. Items with high
shipping that must go truck freight such as door shells, hoods, fenders, bedsides,
complete floor pans can be combined on a single truck freight pallet charge
ranging from 225.00 to 295.00 depending on where it is shipping.
In order to be eligible for combined shipping you must take
the following action BEFORE YOU PAY. IF YOU PAY FOR YOUR ITEMS BEFORE REQUESTING A TOTAL FROM SELLER YOU
CANNOT GET COMBINED SHIPPING, NO EXCEPTIONS.
First Step, you
will have to put the items you wish to purchase in your cart then click on "Request
Total From Seller" which will be located in the upper right section of
your cart.
Second Step,
once you request a total you will then need to click on "Commit To Buy
& Submit Request" on the next screen located at the bottom of the
page.
Please be aware that some items are not eligible for
combined shipping. These items include items like bumpers, fenders, most inner
fenders, tailgates, front bed panels, items that ship from a remote warehouse
location, but not limited to the above. Once you submit your request you will
then receive an updated invoice with the appropriate shipping charges.
Third Step, Once you have received the
new invoice with new shipping total…..IT IS NOW TIME TO PAY. You
will be notified by email if some of your items are not combinable and if you
wish to cancel because you do not like the shipping there will be no hard
