An update of an edition published in four volumes in 1816. Two small thick volumes, 12mo, Vol 1 xix, [1] 526 pages, Vol 2 xxii, 557 pages. Each volume with an engraved title page and engraved frontispieces done for this edition. Bound in full calf leather. Binding with minor wear but sound and pages clean with some unobtrusive minor foxing, very good overall and apparently scarce.
