The box is in decent condition with the original label stuck to it. There is minor wear to one corner...see our photographs. The book is in very good condition. The boards are strong and straight with very little wear at all. The gilded lettering to the spine is bright. The gilding to the top edge is also bright. The spine is strong and the binding tight. There is a faint small mark to the outer edges of the pages ~ mentioned for honesty. There is a gifting inscription in the front but otherwise, there are no marks that we have found.
