MENS DRAG ‘DANNY LA RUE’ COSTUME ORIGINAL SCREEN SEEN TV THE QUEENS SISTER 2005

This is a very elaborate show gown made for the actor Christopher/Kit Green portraying Danny La Rue in a TV production called ‘The Queens Sister’ from 2005 about Princess Margaret. The costume was custom made for the actor portraying Danny in the nightclub scenes when Princess Margaret came to see the show. The dress is trained to the back & is made from a glitter brocade fabric which is fully lined & fastens to the back with a zip & hooks & eyes. The costume is trimmed to the neckline & hem with ostrich feathers & the costume carries the original Pat Farmer label. The costume is clearly seen in the television production.
