Up for sale is an antique cabinet card studio photograph of an NYPD police officer with badge number 1166. His collar has 31 pct brass on it.

The 25th Precinct was re-numbered the 31st Precinct in 1908, and then in 1924, it became the lOA Precinct. In 1929, it became the 19th Precinct, and it has operated under

that designation to this day. It serves the Upper East Side of Manhattan, New York City.

From the style of uniform and type of photo, I date this photo to circa 1908-1910.
