Replacement latch hinge for Thule Atlantis and Sonic boxes. Only fits Atlantis and Sonic as far as we know but if it looks like your latch, it probably is. Let me know if you’re buying it for a different box and I’ll update the description if it works.

This is a replacement part kit for the Thule Atlantis. After receiving a lot of support to make a latch for the Atlantis boxes I’ve made an upgrade replacement. Many have had success with this part. It replaces Thule Part 10932 for the Atlantis.

This is absolutely an upgrade part to the OEM Thule part. My initial prototype is still going strong showing no signs of wear or damage 3 years after installation. These are now made from CF PETG which is carbon fiber reinforced PETG. They aren’t shiny anymore but they print really well and are even stronger than the ASA versions.

I supply these with black stainless hardware now and black stainless nylock nuts. You could buy 6 of these and replace them all or buy one or two to have them on hand for when the poorly engineered and designed OEM version eventually breaks.

I’ve upgraded as many potential points of failure in the design as possible while still retaining function.

The part kit ships in a small box with bubble wrap/bags/shipping paper to protect your new latch during the trip. If you need support during install I’m here to help. if I have to I’ll yank my Thule box down and drill one out to walk you through it on FaceTime or through images. If you manage to have one break on you from install or whatever I will ship you a new one. The goal is to keep these Thule boxes on the road and out of landfills.
