The Beckman Coulter MLS 50 is a high-speed swinging bucket rotor, specially developed for use in the Optima ™ Max series from Ultrazentrifugen. With a maximum speed of 50,000 rpm, it enables the efficient separation of samples to small volumes up to 4 × 5 ml - ideal for applications in molecular biology, biochemistry or cell biology.
The rotor combines high centrifugal forces with precise balance and reliable performance. The swinging bucket design ensures horizontal positioning of the tubes during the run and thus enables particularly sharp fractionation.
