This is the perfect chair for someone who truly appreciates patina and character.

Previous owners applied a polyurethane coating to the chair to protect the leather underneath. As a result, it made the chair darker and have a bit more shine.

There is wear and tear for sure. Nothing significant, all surface cracking with no serious interior rips or damages. The arms are cracking just like an antique French club chair would.

Some would argue that the patina adds value :)

You’ll notice that the coating is chipping off in some areas. I am unsure if the coating would be possible to remove. I would assume with the amount of cracking to the arms of the chair that it would be unlikely to strip the chair entirely.

Please note that you’ll be receiving a chair that is well loved and can be an outstanding piece to your collection and be a great accent to your home.
