US Divers Aqua Lung 25 Yrs Jacques Cousteau Belt Buckle Scuba Brass Vtg ...an awesome and rare old Aqua-Lung 25 Year Commemorative belt buckle from U.S. Diving Company. The "Aqua-Lung" regulator was created by Jacques-Yves Cousteau and Émile Gagnan in 1943. In 1952 U.S. Diving Company was created by Rene Bussoz, in Los Angeles, California, and he registered the "Aqua-Lung" trademark in the United States. This is a solid brass buckle, put out by U.S. Diving Company, of Santa Ana, California, in 1977. It is in pretty decent vintage condition, as shown in the photos it does have a dark patina, and some wear and tear from age or use. It measures approximately 3-1/4" x 2-3/8", fits a 1-3/4" wide belt and weighs about 3.2 oz.
