Description

Gibson LPB-3 Les Paul Standard Bass Bartolini TCT-B Mod Heritage

This extremely rare model was produced in 1994 for a limited four-year period in the early 1990s. It features a single-cutaway body with a mahogany back and maple top, a mahogany neck with an ebony fingerboard, and abalone trapezoid inlays. Its weighty construction delivers solid sustain. This guitar has been modified to active configuration with the inclusion of a Bartolini TCT-B preamp. As a result, both pickups are always on (the larger one is the front pickup), and the controls are a one-volume, three-band EQ. There are sticker marks on the top and back of the body, particularly noticeable on the back. There are scratches, dents, and metal rust throughout, showing signs of use. Although it has been filed down, the neck is slightly twisted and wavy, and there is buzzing around the 9th fret on the 1st string and the 12th fret on the 2nd string.
