Description.

The Star of the Order of the Thistle.

On the star a thistle - wreath and within this

an oval inscribed

" Nemo me impune lacesset "

and surmounted by a Victorian crown.

Within the oval the numerals

" 42 ".

At the base a Sphinx.

All in white - metal.

Size :           76mm.  x  58mm.

The badge comes complete with fixing lugs to the rear,

and is supplied with a fixing pin.
