- These vintage distance measuring units were made in Freiberg (DDR). It is usable directly for maps with following scales: 1:30 000, 1: 50 000, 1:100 000, 1: 120 000, 1: 200 000, 1: 600 000. Of course you can use it for maps with another scales too, but you need to make additional calculations.
- The curvimeters are in working condition and really nice shape. Due to longer storage the fixing glue on the dust protection covers, covering the measuring unit from both sides, is already exhaused, so it is unstable and may fall out on some of them. If that happens, you just need ot add a very small amount of glue to fix it, if that happens.
- Zero button on the top of the handle is working very well, sometimes you need to push harder or several times to get the pointer back, but it is mostly working smooth. If you will reach some point when it will stuck, you can adjust it back easily with the small circle on the bottom.
- Weight including the plastic pouch and label is around 30g
- Condition: New old stock, directly from the old mil. surplus. Please look at the gallery pictures for more details. May have some very small longer storage marks.
