- Parts a considered "Original" if they have a serial number. The vendors I buy reproduction parts from don’t put Mattel car codes on their parts. Vintage parts are obtained from the "25th Anniversary" issue of hot wheels. Any mistakes are made by accident! My eyes aren’t the greatest and the numbers are awful small even with magnification
