Removed from server, tested for defects factory reset, these Supermicro RAID controllers are a great 12G upgrade for anyone still using 6Gb controllers, for a real boost in transfer rates, especially if your running 12G SAS SSD or similar. Simple interface allows fast configuration of your disks. Supports RAID 0, 1, 5, 6, 10, 50, 60 on SAS and SATA drive groups. Can also be configured for JBOD mode if you just want to use Software RAID. 240 drives total supported (assuming you are using expander backplanes). Each controller has 2 physical 4 port connectors with SFF-8464 connector type.
