This is a vintage hardcover first edition with a dust jacket is inscribed by the author, himself.
"6-27-20 Ken we have at least three things in common, Friendship Yellowstone and Christ. May your life be long and full. Jim Stone" There is noticeable fading/discoloration of the red, black, and cream colored dustjacket abhorrently noticed for the large swastika on the front cover. There are multiple small tears to both the edging and spine of the dust jacket. Upon opening the front cover there is a reddish/brown stain in the middle of the edging for the front dust jacket flap and the edging of the front cover page. There is a slight separation of binding at the title page, where the personalized autograph is located. There is no separation of binding located further throughout the book. There is also no visible evidence of writing, marking, or highlighting. No ripping, tearing or missing pages. This memoir is in great overall condition and offers a unique perspective on the war and is a valuable addition to any collection of World War Two antiques and collectibles.
