Operation Desert Shield was the preparatory phase of the Gulf War, building up the military strength and logistical support needed for the offensive against Iraq's invasion of Kuwait.

This 6" brass plate commemorates this as a souvenir from Saudi Arabia. What makes this unique is the obvious misspelled "Desart Shield" The plate is 6" in diameter and approximately 1" tall. It is in it's original state.
