 VIOLIN BOW, handcrafted circa 1880

The pernambuco stick stamped EXCELSIOR.

This fine German violin bow was handcrafted of finest quality pernambuco wood. The round, medium strong stick is of good elasticity and features high activity and active bounce.  The violin bow was set up with the original ebony frog with interesting constraction with option quick changing hairs. The frog is of ebony with  nickel mounting with monogram and metall title EXCELSIOR,  sterling-silver winding.   

Measures:The length of the stick 72cm, full length 73,5cm and the weight of the bow is 61.2gr.
