The Tromp class Light cruisers were a class of 2 ships of the
Netherlands Royal Navy. Hr.Ms. Tromp was build as planned with 6 x 15 cm
Guns in 3 turrets. However Hr.Ms. Jacob van Heemskerck was not fully
ready in May 1940. She escaped to the UK and was completed as an
Anti-Aircraft cruiser with ten 102 mm guns is 5 gun turrets.
Both ships served in the Far East and survived WW2.
