POWERHOUSE RECORDS a Defunct U.S. remix service that operated from 1991 to 1999 and released 29 issues. Nearly all were released on double or triple vinyl, and issues 11, as well as 16 thru 29 were also released on CD. Several best of issues were issued on vinyl sets and CD. POWERHOUSE also released several spinoff services on CD and vinyl: Deep House Classics (1 issue), Club Classics (10 issues), Hip-Hop Classics (1 issue), and Resurrection (4 issues). A single record vinyl-only service called Hit Mix was also released (3 issues – this later evolved into the short lived D.E.M. remix service).
