Mumei – Wakizashi Vintage Japanese Sword
Description
Curvature and Shape
This blade has a gently curved sori.
This form is characteristic of Japanese swords made in the mid to late Edo period.
Jigane (Steel Grain)
The surface of the blade shows a fine itame-hada (wood grain pattern).
The grain is subtle, giving the blade a calm, almost plain appearance.
This is a common feature of swordsmiths from the mid to late Edo period.
Hamon (Temper Line)
A gently undulating gunome (wavy pattern) appears along the edge, so mild that it almost resembles a straight line (suguha).

Please verify with your local customs authority whether Japanese swords can be imported into your country. Import duties, taxes, and fees are not included in the product price. These costs are the buyer's responsibility.
We comply with international regulations and do not underdeclare the value of goods or mark them as gifts.
Shipping may not be possible to certain countries. If that is the case, your order may be canceled.
Shipping & Packaging
The sword will be packaged securely in a hard case to ensure safe delivery, even under rough handling conditions.
Note: The original Japanese registration certificate shown in the photos will not be included, as it must be returned to the government. A photocopy can be provided upon request.
Depending on your country's shipping restrictions, the sword may be disassembled into several parts. Swords are designed for disassembly and can be safely reassembled.
